Cairo Conference February 6-7, 2009 focuses on Membership and Child Mortality

Below is an announcement that may of interest to some of you. There will be a Rotary International conference in Cairo next month convened the RI President that focuses on issues related to Membership and Child Mortality. At present, those members of our club considering attending are PDG Irene Lewitt, Ruth Harris and Mike Rand, Mark Zober and Marilyn Farber.

The costs involved would be the flight to Cairo – yet to be determined, registration $175 USD and hotel – the conference hotel is $210 for a double.

Registration is on Thursday February 5 and the conference from Friday February 6-Saturday February 7, 2009.
